Lesson 2.1 – Reality Check

Do you sometimes have an intuition, and for some reason, you don’t follow it, then later you find out that your intuition was spot on, and you really regret not following it?

I’ve asked this question to hundreds of people at my seminars, and pretty much everyone raises their hand. It’s a widespread experience. 

Why is this so common? 

When we are very young, we get emotionally overwhelmed lots of times

Nobody likes this. Everyone reacts to this by trying to get as far away from the emotional pain as possible.

Emotions have both content and Energy.

The content is the name of the emotion, thoughts, and memories about it.

Energy is the sensation that we feel in or around our body

There are two kinds of energies, as shown in this chart – 

 

Suppression and Avoidance

  • This conditioning causes the accumulation of incomplete experiences of emotional pain.
  • The energies are held inside of us like tight knots or balls of Energy
  • But we suppress these energies so well that we can’t feel the pain anymore
  • We think they are gone, but they are not
  • These residual energies cause our emotional pain-based thoughts, but we don’t know this is happening.

 

Expectations and Reactions

  • This conditioning is the projection of positive and negative outcomes onto the future.
  • These are stories made up in our minds.
  • They are not perceptions of things that exist. They only exist in our minds.
  • They cause us to react with upsets and fears.
  • They cause our ego-based thoughts, but we don’t know this is happening.

 

How We Make Decisions

  • Four kinds of thoughts influence our decisions

1. Practical Thoughts

2. Intuitive Thoughts

3. Ego-based Thoughts

4. Emotional pain-based Thoughts

 

Useful and Not-useful Thoughts

  • Practical Thoughts and Intuitive Thoughts are useful to us
  • The Ego-based and Emotional pain-based Thoughts are not useful and lead to making costly mistakes
  • The Ego-based and Emotional pain-based Thoughts are held inside of us. We call this our inner emotional landscape.

They somehow already know what you truly want to become.

Systematic Guidance Needed

  • The quotes from the famous people above clarify that they somehow know how to trust and act on their intuition much more than most “common” people.
  • They all say that this is a significant key to their success.
  • But although they know how to do it themselves, there’s not much guidance for others to learn how to do that too.

  • When you notice them, stop what you are doing (if possible) and do the Freedom Practice right then. Use the tools and skills you learn in this training to find and resolve the previously hidden energies at the basis of your ego and emotional pain-based thoughts.
  • The beauty of doing this is that it systematically eliminates the energy patterns causing these kinds of thoughts, and when they are gone, they don’t come back!

Because both the IN and OUT Technique energies are so well suppressed, you don’t know they negatively influence your decisions.
